(Extension Update) v1.2

This update provides players who have donated with a couple of extra features. Hax0rs are parsed and display visible staff total and total cost, max funds or max stealth troop cost and the maximum AR limit. The search page also shows total and average value, acres and "real" value for the IDs found.

Anyone who has donated £5 or more should contact me via the forums or msn for a serial key to unlock the donator-only features.

I also have a list of extra features to include in the donator-only version at some point in the future.

Site Update

Again, the site has been redesigned. You can swap between styles by using the links in the footer (javascript must be enabled).

Aside from the new style and a few minor changes to the old styles, there hasn't been many major changes to the front-end code. However, the graphs now change colour based on the style you have chosen.

There have been quite a few changes to the back-end code to make everything more secure.

The extension now uses HTTPS to update which means firefox 3 will not moan about secure updates.

Allies shown on spies now have tooltips. Leap years (should) now occur at the right time so the spy parser will work correctly if someone has 29th Feb in their spy. Updated the max Firefox version to 3.0.* (the extension works with RC1 so should work with the final release).

The extension now works with the latest Firefox 3 beta (3.0b5). However, due to new security in FF3, it's not quite as easy to install the update. To do so, you must enter "about:config" (without the quotes) into the address bar and hit enter. Then click the button saying "I'll be careful, I promise!". Next, right click anywhere in the list on the page and select "New -> Boolean". For the preference name, enter "extensions.checkUpdateSecurity" (again, without the quotes) and then click OK. A box will then appear asking you the value of the boolean, select "false" and click OK. You will then be able to install the update. Also note that automatic updates don't work correctly in FF3 so whenever I announce a new update, you will need to manually go to http://nobreakspace.com/extension.php and install the extension again (I'll fix autoupdates in a later version).

Flyovers now show projected value (mouse over the target's income to see it).

The format you wish to see allies displayed on a spy report can now be changed in the extension's options.

Also, two small changes from a previous update that wasn't noted: there's now a donation link added to in game pages, and the maximum length of the sell to value is now 10 characters rather than 4.

A very minor update this time. If you flyover more than 1 ID at once, all flyovers are parsed rather than just the first one.

Only a small update. There's now a "sell to" button on the supply depot page. By default it sells to 1m but you can customize the amount in the extension's options.

For those that still don't know, to access the options: click Tools at the top of Firefox, then Add-ons, finally select the nobreakspace extension and click the button that says options.

Spies now show an activity table which displays when during the day the ID sends out attack or defence or starts a research or construction. For the table to be displayed, you must parse at least 144 ticks. By default, the times displayed are GMT but you can change them to your local time in options.

There is now a plant all button on the maintenance page. This can be disabled in options.

The extension now has options. You can choose how many ticks of a spy you wish to parse and also turn off parsing all together. To change your settings, click Tools then Add-ons then select the nobreakspace extension and, finally, click Options.

The spy parser now supports stealth mobs so they are included in the current incoming section and the allies list.

Projected value has been added to the overview. Mouse over your score to see it.

I've finally finished (well, mostly) my firefox extension! Check out the extension page for full details. To install, open firefox, navigate to the extension page, click the install link and enjoy. :)

Because the extension includes an automatic spy parser, I have removed the link to the online spy parser. However, you can still access the spy parser at http://nobreakspace.com/spy.php if you so wish.

Another Redesign

I got bored and redid the layout...again. If, however, you preferred the old layout, you can easily switch between the two using the links in the footer. Your preferred layout is stored in a cookie so you don't need to change it every time you load a page.

I might, at some point, depending on how bored I am, change the script slightly so the graph colours match the layout when using the 1.9 style. But for now, I can't be bothered.

Compare

I've finally bothered to write the code to allow you to compare more than one ID on the same graph, a feature that was requested over 10 months ago.

It probably needs a bit of work on it so just let me know if you have any feedback/suggestions.

(Minor Update) Spy Parser Again

ID lists no longer contain a player's AHQ if he ever sent defence to or received defence from it. Instead, the name of the alliance is shown in the header part of the table.

The spy parser now outputs IDs in the form "[ID!x]" and "[ID!xs]" aswell as just "x".

I've updated some of the XHTML so that the site validates as correct XHTML.

Redesign

I've completely redesigned the interface of the site. Hopefully it's easier to use and looks good. I'm still working on the ability to view more than one ID on the same graph at the same time.

I've also added a Donate via Paypal link as I'm a poor student who needs money to pay for hosting. :P Donations are not necessary to use the site but they are greatly appreciated and will help keep the site running for as long as possible.

Round 25

A few database and code changes have been made for round 25. Rank history graphs are currently not working due to the removal of the BH rank.

I'm working on a code and interface redesign which will be uploaded within a week I guess (yay for Christmas holidays). Hopefully this update will include the ability to compare two players on the same graph. Watch this space.

Stats update

I have updated the statistics page to include data for rounds 11 through 23 with the exceptions of 19 and 21. If anyone has the stats for these rounds, please contact me via irc, mail or the forums (user name "Polo").

I have also made a few preparations for the upcoming round.

New Features

I've added a couple of new things to the site; a spy parser, and previous round statistics. Currently I've only uploaded the stats from r11 as I'm lazy. But the others will be up soon enough.
